1. Opening and welcome by Dave Calverley, Chair. Gerry McGillvary, the Wagstaff trophy winner was unable to attend but will be available to attend future meetings. Minutes of last year's AGM were approved by Mick Beevers and seconded by H Newsome

2. Apologies: Ben Calverley, Tony Townend, Pauline and John Thornton and Paul Hollins

3. Chair's Report:

• Having struggled previously due to lack of membership and committee members the association experienced some clerical problems (not the fault of any one individual). Over the last 12 months, the committee has worked tirelessly and Dave feels that as an association we have now turned a corner and are ready to look to the future.

• Thanks were expressed to Trevor Kaye for his continuing work as Secretary, organising the 2015 Reindeer Night, selling many, many raffle tickets especially in Catalan and giving up hours to sort the clerical issues surrounding membership so that it was ready for a new membership secretary to take over.

• Thanks were also expressed to Tony Townend for his work as Treasurer, Helen for taking on the role of Membership Secretary, Darren Eastwood for stepping into the breach to organise speakers, Tonia for her continued work as Publicity Officer, Sheila Kay for prodding Trevor, Martin Eastwood for getting stuck with a variety of tasks and not forgetting Sharon, Mick, Margaret and Judith for their help too

• Raffle – this year's raffle is a joint venture with Luke Robinson's testimonial and sales of tickets have not gone as well as we would have hoped. Trevor pointed out that the supporters have sold a similar amount to those sold in 2015 so in that respect we are on track. Due to the fact that we do not have a sponsor for the Catalan trip (one of the main prizes) we are going to have to sponsor the cost of that as an association and that will have an impact on the eventual proceeds. Dave is hoping that now that we are still in Super League, perhaps Luke's attentions will become a bit more focused on his testimonial and that the sales of 'his' shares of tickets may now increase.

• We continue to have good relations with the Legends club and members are looking forward to the joint end of season dinner on 29th October

• Thanks were expressed to Turnbridge Working Men's Club and their staff for continuing to host our meetings

Secretary's Report:
• Membership has now been sorted and Helen has taken over as Membership Secretary

• Whilst in Catalan, Trevor spent a large amount of his time selling raffle tickets and sold approximately 900 tickets
Treasurer's Report:

• Tony was not able to be present at the meeting and has expressed his wish to step down from his role as Treasurer due to work commitments

• A balance sheet was provided which showed a total amount of assets as £1575, slightly down on 2015 which was £1586. The committee was unable to give details about how much we'd given to the club because this information was not available to us for the meeting.

Membership Secretary's Report:

• We have approximately 60 members at the moment. There are 9 outstanding membership renewals left over from July, reminders have been sent however I have received no response to these. All August memberships have renewed and only received one membership out of 13 for September so far although we did accept 4 new members in September. October renewals have just been issued.

Publicity Officer:

• Reminded members about forthcoming Reindeer Night and joint dinner with Legends

Speaker Secretary:

• We have not yet got any confirmed speakers for 2017.

• Ian McGregor is confirmed as speaker for November 2016 and Luke Robinson is to attend the December meeting to draw the raffle

• The committee has decided that on alternate months current players will be invited as speakers and on the opposite months we will hopefully continue to have other speakers
